The titular Nun was given exaggerated facial features and elongated fangs to create the appearance of demonic possession. For the demonic goat creature, the horns and fur of an animal with a humanoid, ape, and goat-like profile chased the characters through the halls. Additional effects such as a massive fire and set extension for the finale sequence required extensive continuity and attention to detail.
